Graduate School of Business

Academic Principles & Scheme

Today's society is undergoing change at an unprecedented rate, such as through the diversification of the management environment, the growth of information networks, and internationalization. In this business environment, Japanese corporations are reviewing the traditional company system in areas such as lifetime employment, the age-based remuneration system, and the keiretsu (industrial grouping) system. We will learn about such changes as well as desirable forms of new management.

Business administration is a tool for understanding corporate management, which is constantly changing and whose importance is increasing. Furthermore, business administration has been constantly developed in tandem with organizational operations. Thus, it is not simply about constructing theory, but is also a program for students to learn about actual organizational management sites, which are also constantly changing.

The Graduate School of Business would like to produce new knowledge and ability in the area where learning and reality interact, in order to nurture management concepts for the 21st century.
