If you want to confirm information on classes...
Student Portal "Eago Wing"

You can quickly find out information on the classes you take by using the "information terminals" in various locations on campus. You can also check information through the Internet.
|
|
Just by bringing your student ID to the LCD touch panel information terminal, you can access information you need at a glance, such as your time table, class cancellations, classroom changes and information about submitting reports and periodic exams. The portals are also used for the University to send individual messages to students.

The Student Center located on the 1st floor of the Media Center in Building B is a general one-stop office that supports students with student life, classes, overseas study and employment.

Information Science Research Center
|
- Providing a unique education system to cultivate human resources that can capitalize on their IT skills
Students that are going to be living in the future IT society are required to have basic information skills. The Information Science Research Center focuses on enhancing information literacy in order to cultivate human resources that can succeed in various realms of society. We are striving to always provide education methods that are adapted to the times, such as by producing our original IT training sessions for learning basic skills and introducing a time-proven network engineer training program from the U.S.

Foreign Language Laboratory

This is an audio-visual education facility that was established with the aim to improve language education at the University. Audio and visual materials belonging to the AV library can be used for classes and research. Furthermore, both the Aoyama and Sagamihara campuses started providing CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) Rooms, which have been used for foreign language courses as well as lectures on multimedia related courses.

A space that facilitates international exchange through communication primarily in English and other foreign languages. That is the Aoyama Gakuin Chat Room.
Exchange students from overseas studying at our school (exchange students from partner universities) serve as chat leaders.
Users can freely choose from beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and chat about predetermined themes.

The student dining hall offers an extensive menu as well as space where students can enjoy their take-away dishes. The Sagamihara Campus has cafeterias on the 1st and 2nd floors of Building G and the 1st floor of Building N. They have extensive dessert menus, and their soft-serve ice cream offered in different flavors everyday is worth trying.

Libraries

- Providing academic information necessary for learning and research activities at undergraduate and graduate schools in various forms
Aoyama Gakuin University has two libraries: the main library on the Aoyama Campus and the Mandai Memorial Library on the Sagamihara Campus. We have 1.9 million books when including the library of the Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior College.
The Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) system is broadly disclosed within and outside the university through the Internet and accessible from your home computer or cell phone. The books in all three libraries can be used through any of the three libraries, and basic services such as reserving books and extending return dates can be handled online.
Many contents, including databases to efficiently search academic information and overseas electronic journals, can be accessed through the Library website.
Students can also use the libraries of Gakushuin University, Kokugakuin University, Toyo University, Hosei University, Meiji University, Meiji Gakuin University and Rikkyo University (Yamanote Line Private University Library Consortium).

Award System

We award students who achieve excellent academic performance and students that are successful in their field of study.
Awards and extra prizes will be given as "scholarships" and "academic encouragement prizes" to students that proactively show outstanding academic performance (both awards given to students in 2nd year or higher).

Our No. 1 "Foothold for Sports" with welldeveloped athletic fields and facilities Five athletic fields are located on a vast site, where members of respective athletic clubs practice hard everyday. It is about three kilometers away from the Sagamihara Campus.

Our No. 2 "Foothold for Sports" with a seminar house There is a baseball field that doubles as a multi-purpose field, tennis courts, a stall and riding ground, as well as a seminar house with a cafeteria and conference rooms, etc. It is located in Tokyo's Machida City.

If an accident or emergency should occur...
Personal Accident Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research
|
|
Contact the university immediately if you get injured in a sudden accident, etc. Our University is a member of the Personal Accident Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research, and is prepared for cases where students get injured from coincidental accidents. The Dean's Office (Aoyama Campus) and Student Life Group (Sagamihara Campus) will respond to such emergencies.
