인간의 성장, 발달, 형성에 따라 학습하며 교육의 본연의 모습을 추구해 나갑시다.

본 학과는 전신인 문학부 시절을 포함하여 50여년에 걸친 역사와 전통을 자랑합니다.
유아교육에서 초, 중, 고의 교육기관까지 많은 유능한 인재를 배출하고 있습니다. 그러나 본래 교육학이란 교원 양성에 그치는 것이 아니라 사람이 태어나서 일생 동안 어떻게 성장하고 발달하여 인간으로서 형성되어 나가는가를 연구하는 종합 "인간"학입니다. 사람은 학교교육을 비롯하여 다양한 체험이나 사람들과의 만남을 통해 평생 동안 배우게 됩니다. 본 학과에서는 인간형성탐구, 임상교육ㆍ생애발달, 교육정보ㆍ미디어, 유아교육학, 아동교육학의 5가지 이수 코스를 마련하여 자아실현, 인간관계, 국제이해, 정보화와 같은 오늘날의 과제와도 아울러 고찰하면서 다양한 과제를 연구해 나갑니다. 교육의 본질과 그 이상적인 모습은 어떤 것일까? 스스로가 깊이 고찰하며 마음이 풍요로워지는 사회실현을 목표로 사회에 공헌할 수 있는 지식과 기술을 익힙니다.
