기계창조공학과

21세기를 뒷받침하는 "제품 생산"이란? 하드웨어와 소프트웨어의 지식을 집결하여 미래를 향해 가능성을 키워 나간다.

본 학과는 "미래를 창조하는 기계공학"을 목표로 하드웨어가 주체인 기계공학을 기반으로 소프트웨어 기술을 접목함으로써 보다 마음이 풍요로워지는 "제품 생산"을 지향하는 독자적인 공학을 추진하고 있습니다. 이를 추진하는 생각의 밑바닥에는 "사람과 사회와 자연의 공존"이라는 대명제가 있습니다. 21세기의 사회가 원하는 제품을 생산하기 위해서는 이 명제에 대해 명쾌한 해답을 제시할 수 있는 창조력과 상상력이 반드시 필요합니다.
본 학과는 한 사람 한 사람이 이러한 힘을 주체적으로 몸에 익힐 수 있도록 스스로 고민하고 생각해 내는 창조의 기쁨을 느끼면서 배우는 실제 체험을 중시하는 커리큘럼으로 구성되어 있습니다. 1년차의 입문편인 '체험연습'에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 사례에서 창조의 즐거움을 체험. 2, 3년차 때는 본 학과에서만 가능한 'Lab Work'를 통해 4년차에 올라가기 전부터 희망하는 연구실에 소속되어 각 분야의 최첨단 영역에서 활약하는 교수진의 지도 아래 기계창조공학의 핵심을 접할 수 있습니다.
