문리융합의 입장에서 정보화 사회를 열어 나간다.

고도 정보화 사회라고 불리는 오늘날 무언가를 이루기 위해서는 인문계열과 이공계열 중 어느 한 분야만을 마스터하는 것보다 양쪽 모두에 정통한 것이 커다란 장점이 됩니다. 이러한 능력을 몸에 익히기 위해서 본 학부에서는 사회과학계열, 인간사회융합계열, 정보과학계열의 3영역의 지식과 기술을 골고루 학습을 하며, 현대 사회에 꼭 필요한 4개의 능력(수리적인 소양, 논리적인 사고, 정보의 고도 응용, 풍부한 커뮤니케이션 능력)을 기릅니다. 3년차부터는 진로선택의 기준이 되는 여러 개의 이수 모델을 가이드라인으로 삼아 이수. 이를 통해 사회와 직업의 구체적인 이미지를 가지고 사회와 정보를 실천적으로 배울 수 있습니다. 학습체험을 통해 몸에 익힌 지식과 기술을 효과적으로 프레젠테이션하기 위한 훈련과 수학 능력 향상을 위한 보강 수업을 실시하는 등 꼼꼼한 지도와 지원체제를 갖추고 있습니다.
