■Travel alerts to students and faculty members

The travel advisory guidelines from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) have been updated daily since the coronavirus outbreak has spread to such countries as China, South Korea, Iran and Italy.

Students and faculty members are strongly advised against travelling to areas where the MOFA’s safety level is “Level 2” or higher until it returns to “Level 1”.

Please check the MOFA website below for the safety level of each country and region.

Level 1: Yellow - Exercise caution
Level 2: Pale orange - Avoid non-essential travel
Level 3: Orange -Avoid all travel
Level 4: Red - Evacuate and avoid all travel
