Professor INAZUMI Hiroshige
President, Aoyama Gakuin University

President Inazumi was born in Okayama Prefecture, in 1956.

In 1984, he completed the Master’s Program of Mechanical Engineering at Waseda University, Graduate School of Science and Engineering.

He took his first position as assistant professor at the College of Science and Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering, later changing departments to the Department of Integrated Information Technology; he became a professor of this department in 2003.

He was appointed Dean of the College of Science and Engineering and Graduate School of Science and Engineering in 2004.

In 2009, he moved colleges, becoming a professor at the School of Social Informatics.

He has successively held various posts, having been appointed the Dean of School of Social Informatics and Graduate School of Social Informatics in 2010, and serving as Vice President of Aoyama Gakuin University from 2019.

In December 2023, he was appointed the 20th President of Aoyama Gakuin University. His term of office is from December 16, 2023 to December 15, 2027.
