On December 5, 2024, the fourth Meet Up Cafe of the fall semester was held at the “International Commons” on the first floor of Building No. 7 on the Aoyama Campus.

At this year's Meet Up Cafe, we made original Christmas ornaments. Using origami, stickers, ribbons, and other materials, the students created ornaments reflecting their own creativities. The ornaments were taken home to display in their homes, hung in the Commons, or given as cards with messages. All the participants enjoyed showing each other their ornaments. International students and non-international students were interacting with each other over drinks and snacks while making crafts and even after they were finished.

Meet Up Cafe is an event for international students and all AGU students to interact with each other. It is conducted in both English and Japanese, so those who are not comfortable with English can easily participate. The next event is scheduled for Thursday, December 19. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
