■Travel advisory for travel to and from China and South Korea

Following the travel advisory guideline from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan as of February 25, 2020, students and faculty members are strongly advised against travelling to China and the Daegu, Cheongdo-gun and Gyeongsangbuk-do areas in South Korea until the advisory level returns to level 2.

Students and faculty members who travel back from China and the Daegu, Cheongdo-gun and Gyeongsangbuk-do in South Korea recently should conduct strict health observations during the incubation period (about 2 weeks), and refrain from going out. If you have any symptoms such as fever or cough, call your local Returnees Contact Center and also report the Healthcare Administration Center at 03-3409-7896.

■Overseas travel during the spring holidays

If you plan to travel abroad, please make your safety the utmost priority and revise or cancel your travel based on the latest information, not only about heavily infected countries and regions but also their neighboring countries.
To students who are due to travel abroad in short overseas programs run by the university, the organizers may need to contact you. Please check the Student Portal regularly.

■ If you suspect you have symptoms

If you have a fever or other symptoms of cold, please refrain from coming to the university or going out.
If you have any of the following symptoms, consult your local Returnee Contact Center by phone and follow the instructions.

1. When the symptoms of a cold or fever of 37.5 degree or higher continue for 4 days or more (or about 2 days for the elderly or those with pre-existing conditions)

2. When you feel fatigued or experience shortness of breath

■Reporting infection

If you are infected or suspect you are infected, please refrain from coming to the university until your doctor gives you permission, and contact the Healthcare Administration Center at 03-3409-7896 immediately.
New type coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is defined as a "designated infectious disease" by a Cabinet Order and is considered as a "first-class infectious disease" as stipulated in the School Health and Safety Law.

■How to prevent infection

As it is possible that the Corona infection may spread further, and this is also the time of the flu epidemic, please take measures to prevent infection such as cough etiquette, hand washing, and gargling.
