The Department of Psychology at the Graduate School of Education, Psychology and Human Studies , is currently providing a specified curriculum for becoming a Certified Public Psychologist, a national qualification in Japan. The curriculum started in the school year of 2018, after the Certified Public Psychologist law was established in 2017.

On December 20, 2020, the 3rd Certified Public Psychologist Examination was held. We are proud to announce that all 4 graduates who applied have passed. The graduates this year were those who entered in the school year of 2018, and are the 1st generation to finish our Certified Public Psychologist curriculum.

From 2020, the undergraduate school has also implemented psychological training curriculums, and our school has started full-scale training for Certified Public Psychologists. In the Psychology major, we will continue to manage a fulfilling curriculum and focus on training professionals who can truly contribute to society.
