Aoyama Gakuin University was accredited as a Fairtrade University on Friday, May 14, 2021. To commemorate this, the Fairtrade Lab, School of Cultural and Creative Studies, School of Business SBSL, and Fan×Fun; an international volunteer organization, worked in collaboration with Ogawa Coffee Co. Ltd. to create a drip bag coffee: "AOYAMA FAIRTRADE COFFEE" to commemorate the accreditation. Drip bag coffee packaging designs were invited from students, and the design was chosen from among the 18 works submitted by the jury members of the three organizations mentioned above, and TANAKA Towa (3rd year, Department of Comparative Arts, College of Literature) ‘s design was adopted. The decisive points were that "the design expresses the "fair" relationship between producers and buyers through coffee, reflects the idea of fair trade, and enables people who bought the coffee to understand fair trade easily."

On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Ms. TANAKA, whose design was adopted, received a certificate of commendation from President SAKAMOTO Hiroshi in the main chapel.
