On June 19, 2025 (Thursday),Global Village took place at the “International Commons” on the first floor of Building No. 7 on the Aoyama Campus.
International students from six countries and regions -Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, the U.S., South Korea, and Taiwan- gathered as "ambassadors" to introduce their unique cultures with passion.
At each country's booth, participants could experience diverse cultures firsthand by trying popular snacks, enjoying traditional games, and challenging themselves with country-related quizzes. Some booths offered the chance to create personalized name tags written in the local language or to get original keychains as wonderful souvenirs to take home. The booths, creatively designed and meticulously crafted by the ambassadors, were adorned with attractive decorations and inviting photo spots. Participants must have felt as if they had traveled around the world!

Approximately 120 participants attended to Global Village, including not only AGU students but also high school students.
Thanks to all the ambassadors who worked hard to prepare for the event and to the students who actively enjoyed interacting with each other!
We are planning to hold Global Village again in the fall semester of this year. If you were not able to participate this time, we hope you will join us at the next opportunity.
