On October 22, 2025 (Wednesday), the "Ikebana Workshop" was held at the "International Commons" on the 1st floor of Building 7, Aoyama Campus. This workshop was themed on Halloween, with participants engaging in ikebana using autumnal-colored flowers and leaves.

Ms. Atsuko Suzuki, an alumnus of Aoyama Gakuin University and president of Forest Academy, was invited as a lecturer. The workshop began with a lecture on the different styles and knowledge of ikebana. Following the lecture, all participants worked together on one piece of work. Each student carefully considered the angles and placement of the materials, completing a beautiful arrangement.
Afterwards, all participants made their own individual work, that they can take to home. Even with the same materials, different works emerged, and participants enjoyed conversation while observing the variations in their work.
They admired each other's works while enjoying tea and sweets. Approximately 30 students, including international students and Japanese students, attended the workshop, and they experienced learning Japanese culture through ikebana.
