On October 23, 2024 (Wednesday), the "Ikebana Workshop" was held at the "International Commons" on the 1st floor of Building 7, Aoyama Campus. We arranged autumn-themed flowers to create a work of art with a seasonal feel.
Miss Atsuko Suzuki, an alumnus of Aoyama Gakuin University and president of Forest Academy, was invited as the instructor. Miss Suzuki gave a lecture about the types of ikebana and the basic knowledge.
Afterwards, all students made a Halloween-themed flower arrangement together. There was also time for individual work, and they made their own flower arrangement to home. 30 students, including international students and AGU students, participated in the workshop, and they enjoyed viewing each other's works over the refreshments.
