On Friday, January 9, 2026, Movie Day was held at the International Commons on the first floor of Building 7 on the Aoyama Campus.

For this event, we screened the top-voted films from the International Commons’ Instagram poll in three categories: "Experience Japanese Culture," "Learn World History," and "Experience Foreign Cultures."

A variety of students participated: some came specifically for the movies, others joined after becoming interested while using the lounge, and some stopped by for a quick break from their studies. Although it is a busy time with exams and assignments, the event offered a calm and relaxing atmosphere, different from our larger, high-energy events. It was a meaningful time for everyone to experience different cultures through films.
