On May 14, 2025, the Meet Up Cafe took place at the “International Commons” on the first floor of Building No. 7 on the Aoyama Campus. The main activity this time was a “Snack Cup Party,” where participants created their own unique snack combinations in a cup.

The first part of the event was self-introductions in random groups. Following this, students played an icebreaker that they tried to find three things in common within their small groups. Using both Japanese and English, they shared their favorite foods, animals, and past experiences, uncovering surprising and unique commonalities within each group.

The highlight of the event was the snack cup making. Each student selected a cup and freely filled it with a variety of snacks from the table. Everyone could show what they liked by making their own snack cups. The rest of the time, they enjoyed talking, playing games, and eating their special snacks. About 60 students participated, and it was fun and lively from the start to the end.

Meet Up Cafe is an event for international students and all AGU students to interact with each other. It is conducted in both English and Japanese, so those who are not comfortable with English can easily participate. The next event is scheduled for Thursday, June 5.
