University of Pavia visits AGU


Professor Ilaria Poggiolini, Pro Vice-Chancellor for International Relations at the University of Pavia, Italy visits Aoyama Gakuin University on May 25, 2018 to explore possible student and faculty collaborations. Professor Poggiolini met with Professor Takashi Oshimura, Vice President of Aoyama Gakuin University and representatives from the International Center.

Founded in 1361 with thirteen faculties, the University of Pavia is one of the oldest higher education institutions in the world. The university is located south of Milan and boasts over 1,500 international students and prides itself on its global outlook including over 400 partnerships worldwide. Many notable alumni and faculty have graduated and taught at the university including three Nobel Laureates. AGU and the University of Pavia will continue working towards a partnership, with a possibilities for student & faculty exchanges.
