[Important/Urgent] Extension of the prohibition of entry due to the spread of novel coronavirus infection (COVID -19)
Dear students, faculty, staff, and others it may concern,
Due to the continuing increase in the spread of infection of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), Aoyama Gakuin University has decided to extend the prohibition of entry for both Aoyama and Sagamihara Campus, which had been scheduled from Wednesday, April 8 ~ Wednesday, May 6 2020, to now finish on Sunday, May 31 2020.
In accordance with this, Aoyama Gakuin University will continue to restrict students, faculty, staff, and others it may concern from entering the school grounds for the same period. All offices and related facilities will also be closed. Please note that although the school facilities are closed, the school is operating by working from home.
Classes for undergraduate and graduate schools will begin online as scheduled on Friday May 1. For professional graduate schools, please follow the decision made by each school. The prohibited period may be re-extended in accordance with any further notice by the government, or by a change in the infection situation. If the state of emergency is relaxed by the government, then some persons may be allowed to enter campus.
