Aoyama Gakuin School Corporation has decided to close its Aoyama and Sagamihara campuses from Wednesday, April 8, 2020 to Wednesday, May 6, 2020 in response to the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID -19).
About the closure of Aoyama Gakuin due to the spread of new coronavirus infection (Japanese only)
Aoyama Gakuin University will prohibit students, faculty and staff, and other related persons from entering the Aoyama and Sagamihara campuses during this period. All offices and related facilities will be closed.
For undergraduate and graduate school classes, online classes will be provided as scheduled from May 1 (Friday), even during the period when students are prohibited from entering the campus. For professional graduate schools, please follow the decision of the particular graduate school.
The period of closure may be extended depending on future announcements by the government or the circumstances of the spread of infection. If that is the case, we will inform you on the university website of any changes, so please check it regularly.

In addition, our response to the new coronavirus (COVID -19) (When returning home from areas subject to tightened quarantine) has previously been stated as below, but please be sure to check it once again before taking any action.
You should also refrain from taking any actions that increase the risk of the spread of infection, such as traveling abroad, or going to places where the 3 conditions of "enclosed space", "crowded area", and "proximity to others" overlap.
