■In the case of feeling unwell.
Please refrain from going out if you have a fever or any signs of a cold. In such a case please note that you will be prohibited from entering the school.
If you have any of the following symptoms, please call the Returnee/ Close Contact of Covid-19 Consultation Center and follow their instructions.
・If you have dyspnea, a strong weariness, or a high fever.
・If you are an older person, or have underlying diseases, and have cold symptoms including fevers and coughing.
・If any cold symptoms (fever, coughs, etc.) persist for a while.

■Make a report if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, or if you have been in close contact with a carrier.
COVID-19 has been termed as a “Designated infectious disease” by the government. This makes it a “Type I infectious disease” in accordance with the School Health and Safety Act. If you or your family are diagnosed with COVID-19, or have close contact with a carrier, please refrain from going to school or work, and follow the instructions from the public health center or other public organizations. For students and part-time teachers, please contact the Healthcare Administration Center (03-3409-7896). For full-time teachers and other staff (including part-time), please contact your supervisor.

■Methods for preventing the spread of infection.
Please be sure to adapt to the COVID-19 “new normal” lifestyle; please avoid the “Three Cs”: closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings; continue to wear masks, and take care with washing your hands and gargling to prevent infection.
As announced via the student portal, since there have been cases of clusters happening in restaurants and other places where people gather, we ask each one of you to protect yourself both from infection and from infecting others. Please download the COVID-19 Contact-Confirming Application (COCOA).
The application can be downloaded from the link below.

Please check the notices on healthcare from the link below, and please ensure that each one of you takes great care in preventing infection.

Please refer to the student portal for details.

■Concerning traveling abroad.
In order to prevent infection from spreading throughout the world, and to increase restrictions for moving within and between countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a Level 2 travel advisory for all countries, so please refrain from non-essential travel.
In addition, “Infectious disease risk level 3: Please stop traveling” and “Level 2: Please stop unnecessary and unurgent travel” advisories have been issued for almost all countries and regions. Almost every place and region is set as Level 2 or Level 3, so please refrain from traveling.
Taking this situation into account, the school will prohibit all students, faculty, and staff from travelling abroad unless the travel advisory Level has been brought lower than 2.
The Level of the travel advisory can be seen on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website. You can find the link at the bottom of this page.

■For students, faculty, and staffs residing in other countries.
All students, faculty and staffs residing abroad are requested to make as quick a return as possible. Those who are of international residence status and have difficulties returning due to a record of residing in an area that Japan is currently refusing entry from, please contact the academic affairs department/division of the school you belong to.
Please check the site below to confirm which countries are currently denied landing in Japan.
