CAREER Post-graduation paths

Career Design - What kind of talent will be needed in the future?

What kind of world will be waiting for you when you graduate from university and enter society? The business environment is currently undergoing major changes. Let's think together about what kind of talent society will need in the future.

Expected career paths after graduation: Students are expected to play an active role in any field related to overseas.

Through learning in a domestic curriculum and through study abroad experiences, our faculty aims to cultivate the ability to recognize the diversity of global society from a global perspective, the ability to collaborate with people of various backgrounds and create value together, and communication skills backed by language proficiency, in order to train talent who can build good relationships with people of different backgrounds and contribute to companies and society in the increasingly diverse work environments that we find ourselves in in recent years.

It is therefore expected that these graduates will play an active role in a wide variety of fields that have interactions with overseas countries, such as trading companies, transportation, communications, and information, banking and insurance, construction and real estate, manufacturing, media and advertising, tourism, think tanks, and the civil service.

In addition, through learning from faculty members with extensive overseas experience and expertise and through overseas experiences, we expect students to play an active role in fields with a greater focus on overseas, such as international cooperation organizations, international cultural exchange organizations, domestic and international NGOs/NPOs, development consultants, etc. Furthermore, for those with the ambition to solve problems on their own, we also envision a path to becoming social entrepreneurs.

Admission to graduate school abroad

School of Global Studies and Collaboration has established an "Overseas Graduate School Support Office" consisting of faculty members who have graduated from overseas graduate schools to support students who are aiming to study at graduate schools overseas. The main support provided includes acquiring the basic knowledge necessary to prepare for studying at a graduate school overseas, improving English language proficiency and global skills, holding seminars to help prepare application documents, and individual guidance tailored to the needs of each student.
So far, six students have been accepted into graduate schools abroad.
