The Aoyama Educational Policy states, "Aoyama 's education aims to be based on Christian faith and to develop individuals who live honestly before God, humbly pursue the truth, and willingly fulfill their responsibilities to all people and to society with a spirit of love and service."
Aoyama Gakuin University University, as the highest institution in Aoyama 's consistent educational system, aims to cultivate character based on Christian principles, impart advanced education, and teach and research academic theory and application, thereby nurturing individuals who will serve society and contribute to the advancement of culture.
Aoyama Gakuin University Diploma Policy (Policy for Graduation Certification and Degree Awarding)
Graduates of our university will have acquired the "The Aoyama Standard" liberal arts education and specialized education in each faculty and department, and will have acquired the following abilities through extracurricular activities.
・Sufficient knowledge and skills
- The ability to think, make decisions, express oneself, and use these as a foundation to find solutions to problems that do not have a single, fixed answer
- The motivation, interest, and attitude to learn and collaborate with a diverse range of people based on these fundamental principles

Doctoral Program
Those who complete the doctoral program at our graduate school will have acquired the following abilities through advanced specialized education and writing a doctoral thesis:

Integrated Doctoral Program
Those who complete our integrated doctoral program will have acquired advanced specialized education and, through writing their doctoral dissertation, will possess the following abilities:
