Our university's study abroad system can be mainly divided into long-term programs (study abroad at partner universities, study abroad at accredited universities) and short-term programs (overseas cultural experience, overseas language and cultural training, overseas internships).

Plan your study abroad
Study abroad programs are becoming more diverse along with the purpose of studying abroad, such as wanting to master a foreign language, deepening knowledge in a specialized field, widening one's international perspective, etc. Please carefully consider the destination (region/country), time and period of study abroad, the subject you want to study, and your career path after graduation, and then think carefully about what kind of study abroad program will be most effective for you.

This is a system whereby students are sent to universities with which we have concluded student exchange agreements. Our university has partner universities in countries all over the world, and the number of such universities is increasing every year.

Learn about accredited study abroad programs
If you are unable to achieve your study abroad goals through a partner university, this is a system that allows you to study abroad at a university or higher education institution that has the authority to award degrees and that matches your learning goals. After selecting your study abroad destination, applying and receiving admission, you will need to apply to our university for an accredited school study abroad program.

Learn about the inter-faculty exchange program (School of Global Studies and Collaboration)
A semester of undergraduate study abroad in Asia* is a pillar of the curriculum of School of Global Studies and Collaboration. In principle, all students who meet certain conditions will study abroad in Southeast Asia for 6 months during the second semester of their second year.

In order to cultivate human resources who can thrive in global society, the School of School of International Politics, Economics and Communication offers a variety of overseas programs, such as the Dual Degree Program at the University of Essex Graduate School (UK) and the SDGs Program at Missouri State University.

Learn about the Faculty's Overseas Programs (Faculty of Law)
Faculty of Law has established its own overseas training program, which can be certified as a regular course and can be used to earn credits. This is a short-term study abroad program that takes place during the university's summer vacation (August to September) or spring vacation (February to March), and students can learn about the legal systems and social conditions of each country or region at universities in four countries that have agreements with Faculty of Law.

College of Science and Engineering and Technology provides English education for engineers and scientists who can work globally.
