Students from Department of History, like graduates from the Faculty of Arts College of Literature as a whole, go on to find employment in a wide range of fields, including education, civil service, mass media, construction, manufacturing, distribution, finance, insurance, railways, transportation, services, and communications, and are active in a wide range of sectors.

Others use the expertise they gained during their university years to pursue careers in education or research, or as museum curators, while others go on to graduate school to devote themselves to research.
