Interdisciplinary education
With three departments and five courses, we offer an interdisciplinary education that allows students to study subjects from other departments and courses beyond their specialized fields. We cultivate the ability to grasp things from multiple and diverse perspectives and develop integrated knowledge.

Small class size
Seminar-style lectures on specialized subjects are offered throughout the four years of the program.

Seminar Bridge
Approximately 40 faculty members are available to choose from specialized seminars regardless of department.
It is possible to combine departments and seminars according to one's interests and career path. -
Global Studies Program
This is a limited program for those who wish to study specialized subjects in English.
There are currently approximately 100 all-English "English Lecture Courses" offered. -
University of Essex Dual Degree Programme
This is a program to study at the Graduate School of Essex University (UK) for one year from the second semester of the fourth year. Essex University is highly regarded in the world in the field of social sciences, and is an international university that accepts international students from over 130 countries. Exchange students can also earn a master's degree at the Graduate School of Essex University.

Overseas training/cross-cultural exchange
In 2024, we conducted overseas training programs with Handong University in Korea, Ludwigshafen University of Economics in Germany, Vietnam National Agriculture University, Missouri State University in the United States, and Lampung University in Indonesia, deepening exchanges with students from each university. We also participated in the activities of iEARN, a global organization that conducts online intercultural exchange, to disseminate information about Japan to the world. We are also incorporating new forms of intercultural exchange.
