About the Research Institute
Aoyama Gakuin School Corporation established the institute in 1988 with the aim of integrating a wide range of academic fields through organic ties with education and research at Aoyama Gakuin University, and contributing to the advancement of society and academic culture.
In line with the university-wide research promotion policy formulated by the Integrated Research Organization, a university-funded research unit was established in 2018 to promote unique research that should be a priority for the university.
The Institute will promote and support these research projects.

Research activities and structure
In addition to the General Research Unit A, B, and C, which are divided according to the size of the budget, the unit system includes the Christian Culture Research Unit. In terms of research content, the requirements are that it must be research with a high social impact that represents the Institute, that it must be urgent or that it must be a novel and groundbreaking project, that it must be planned to fully utilize the aims and characteristics of the Institute, and that it must be organized by one or more researchers.

PUBLICATIONS
The Institute publishes two periodicals, the Institute Report and News Soken, once a year. It also publishes information on publications by each research unit of the Institute.

Early Eeagle Research Support Program (Young Researcher Support Program)
This page lists the results of support provided by the Early Eagle Research Support Program, which aims to develop young researchers such as doctoral students, research assistants, and assistant professors, revitalize their research activities, promote the creation of original, pioneering research that combines the Early Eeagle and sciences, and support the acquisition of external competitive research funds such as grants-in-aid for scientific research and other subsidies.

SDGs-related research grant program
At Aoyama Gakuin University, we are posting the results of our support for the SDGs-related research grant program, which supports research at the university that focuses on the SDGs as a research topic, in order to raise the level of research by supporting research related to the SDGs and to increase recognition as a "global AGU" that is working toward the SDGs.
