Enroll as a government-sponsored student
The graduate school accepts Japanese government scholarship students (research students) recommended by the embassy and recruited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan.

Becoming a Graduate Student/Visiting Researcher
Graduate School Research Students】Foreigners who are enrolled in a master's or master's program at a foreign university or who have earned a master's degree are accepted as foreign research students for master's and master's programs (up to 1 year). In addition, foreign students who are enrolled in a doctoral course at a foreign university or who have completed at least three years of study in a doctoral course at a foreign university are accepted as foreign research students in the doctoral course (for one year or less). *The graduate research student system should be discussed with your academic advisor and then your academic advisor should consult with the respective graduate school departments at Academic Affairs Department Academic Affairs Division or Sagamihara Campus Administration Department Academic Affairs Division.
Visiting Researchers] We accept people (regardless of nationality) with a master's or doctoral degree or a professional degree and sufficient ability to carry out educational and research activities as visiting researchers (for a single year and up to one year).
