Completion requirements etc.
We will introduce the requirements for completion and course enrollment for the Chemistry course.
Master's Program
Completion Requirements
In the master's program at this graduate school, students are awarded a master's degree if they select a course and within that course, either the "Specialized Frontier Program" or the "Comprehensive Frontier Program," enroll for at least two years (four semesters), conduct regular research, earn at least 30 credits, submit a dissertation, pass the examination, and receive foreign language certification.
However, with regard to the period of enrollment, those who have demonstrated outstanding research achievements will be required to enroll for one year (two semesters) or more.
The required credits are defined as the following compulsory subjects in the Specialized Frontier Program: "Science and Technology English I" (2 credits), a common major subject, and "Special Experiments and Seminars in Science and Engineering A, B, C, D" (2 credits each, for a total of 8 credits) in the specialized major subject. In addition, students must select 2 or more credits from the elective compulsory subjects common to all majors, and 8 or more credits from the core subjects of each specialized major subject determined by the course to which the student belongs, for a total of 30 or more credits including other elective subjects.
In the Interdisciplinary Frontier Program, the compulsory subjects are the major-wide subject "Science and Technology English I" (2 credits), the major-specialized subjects "Special Experiments and Seminars in Science and Engineering A, B, C, D" (2 credits each, for a total of 8 credits), and "Interdisciplinary Frontier Special Seminars E and F" (2 credits each, for a total of 4 credits). Students must also select 6 credits or more from the elective compulsory subjects for the major-wide subjects, 4 credits or more from the core subjects of each major-specialized subject determined by their course, and other elective subjects (subjects from other graduate schools may be included in the graduation requirements up to a maximum of 4 credits with the approval of the course and research advisor), for a total of 30 credits or more.
In addition, foreign language certification will be granted upon earning credits for the required subject "Science and Technology English I."
Grading
The maximum score is 100 points, with a pass being 60 points or above.
Transcripts and grades will be marked with the following grades: AA, A, B, C.
Grading | Rating |
AA | 100 to 90 points |
A | 89 to 80 points |
B | 79 to 70 points |
C | 69–60 points |
