What is the Integrated Research Organization?
On April 1, 2018, the Integrated Research Organization was established at Aoyama Gakuin University with the aim of carrying out integrated projects related to research at the university from a university-wide perspective.
The Institute has established the Research Institute for Advanced Studies, the Research Institute for Comprehensive Research, and the Liaison Center to plan and devise unique research strategies that the University should focus on, as well as to actually carry out research and lead research across the entire University.

Research Institute
The Institute is made up of a group of university-funded research units (research units whose research is recognized as important and is provided with research funding from the university).

General Project Research Institute
The Institute for Integrated Projects consists of a group of externally funded research projects (research projects whose importance has been recognized and for which research funds have been provided by companies or the government).

Liaison Center
The Liaison Center was established in April 2019 based on the university-wide research promotion policy formulated by the organization, with the aim of supporting excellent research at Aoyama Gakuin University that contributes to the development of society and academic culture at large, improving the quality of the university's research activities, and promoting industry-academia-government collaboration.
