The institute was established with the aim of collecting knowledge and conducting research on the state of supply chains in order to build a sustainable society, and returning the results of that research to society. In particular, the institute will work with private companies to conduct research on dual sourcing issues in global supply chains, as well as product waste and food loss issues.
