In recent years, in regions such as India and Bangladesh where groundwater irrigation is prevalent, there has been a strong movement to switch from fossil fuels to solar power for pumping groundwater. This institute will expand its target areas to the whole world and conduct research on the economic efficiency of solar pumps, income distribution, and their significance in addressing the issue of groundwater depletion.
