Science and Engineering
Science and Engineering
Through a systematic curriculum, we aim to cultivate in-depth academic knowledge and research capabilities, and to nurture individuals who are solid members of society and can demonstrate leadership on an international level.
In the Master's program, based on the broad and specialized education provided in undergraduate education for character development, students will not only improve their basic and applied skills in their field of specialization, but also develop in-depth academic knowledge related to their research field and a sincere attitude and ability toward research.
In the doctoral program, students build on the educational achievements of the first program by adding new knowledge to conventional academic standards through original research, contributing to the development and creation of culture, and nurturing the ability to lead future research in their specialized fields.

Doctoral course: 15 students
The Graduate School of Science and Engineering website contains past entrance examination questions from Graduate School of Science and Engineering.

-
Basic Science Course
The program focuses on the fields of mathematical sciences, astrophysics, theoretical physics, and atomic and molecular physics, and also aims to broaden students' horizons to include new fields such as economics, information science, and complex systems.
-
chemistry course
The program provides education in basic technology and research focusing on the fields of mechanical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and physical chemistry, and students will conduct research on a wide range of molecular systems from the perspective of chemistry itself, thereby acquiring a broad and deep understanding of chemistry.
-
Functional materials creation course
By integrating the fields of physics, chemistry, and electrical and electronic engineering, students are taught the creation of materials with new functions and their applications, and we aim to develop talented people who are well versed in a wide range of fields and can work on the cutting edge of materials science.
-
Life Science Course
The aim of this program is to equip students with a common foundation of knowledge across a wide range of fields in biological science, and to develop the ability to conduct their own research through studying the structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms of molecules that play a key role in life phenomena.
-
Electrical and Electronic Engineering Course
Education is provided mainly in the fields of electricity, communications, information, electronics, and the electrical and electronic materials and devices that underlie these.
-
Machine Creation Course
We train researchers and engineers who create equipment and systems, and provide education and research that gives students a deep understanding of the shapes, mechanisms, and mechanical effects of things from a broad perspective that includes energy and the environment.
-
Intelligence information course
We will elucidate human intelligence and sensibility from the perspective of information, and provide comprehensive education in intelligence and information from the perspectives of humans and intelligence, society and networks, and design and systems.
-
Management Technology Course
Students will learn about the concepts, methodologies, and systems required for managing the problems facing modern society from the perspectives of information technology, OR, statistics, and IE, as well as how to build and operate them.
