Fiscal 2010 Projects
Fiscal 2010 Projects
Purpose of the project: To provide students with an important opportunity to confirm their future and the direction they should take.
The aim is to further enhance and develop an environment in which people can approach their work with confidence.
Fiscal 2010 Projects
The projects implemented in fiscal 2010 are as follows:
- 01. By appointing career counselors for job-hunting consultations, we will expand the number of consultation windows by adding part-time staff to regular full-time staff during a certain period when the number of students seeking job-hunting consultations increases.
- 02. Application form correction and guidance via the Internet will allow remote guidance on application forms, which was previously based on face-to-face meetings, regardless of location or time, and will be expanded to students who have had difficulty receiving direct support in the past. In parallel, we will conduct web tests to develop basic social skills, and provide advance guidance to those who wish.
- 03. Filming and video distribution of career and job-hunting support events: Various guidance and support events held on campus will be filmed and posted on the university's website, and students will be able to view the videos on the portal site and learn from them as e-learning.
- 04. We conduct general knowledge and SPI mock tests in various mock tests and courses. In addition, we provide information on industries, companies, and occupations in career courses and vocational aptitude tests.
- 05. Staff training will be conducted for all 14 staff members at both campuses in charge of career guidance and employment support, who will be taught by a career counseling expert over two days, with the aim of understanding the importance of communication through role-playing.
- 06. At the corporate recruiter briefing session, the corporate and university executives and the career support committee of each faculty will explain the research, education, and employment support situation at the university, and will also hear explanations about the hiring plans of companies.
- 07. Mock interviews and industry information sessions will be held by graduates, giving students the opportunity to interact with graduates who are actually working in the workplace after graduation and allowing them to imagine what their own work life will be like after graduation. In addition, graduates will provide guidance on what they need to do in the future.
- 08. Updating the job information system and job requests involves updating the changing company information with the latest information and requesting companies to directly post jobs to the university.
