Agreement on Graduate School Entrusted Auditing Students (Majoring in French Language and Literature)
As the circumstances surrounding universities change, the role expected of graduate school education is also becoming more diverse. The French Literature and French Linguistics majors at each of the universities listed here have a common goal of furthering both education and research by building a system of mutual cooperation, and have decided to enter into an agreement for entrusted audit students. An entrusted audit student is an audit student who is entrusted by his/her home graduate school to the other graduate school by mutual understanding when a student wishes to audit classes at a school other than his/her own for research purposes. The treatment of entrusted audit students is stipulated as follows.
-
1. If a student enrolled in a graduate school wishes to audit a course at another university's graduate school for research purposes, he/she must notify the desired graduate school through his/her own graduate school after obtaining the consent of his/her supervisor at his/her own graduate school.
-
2. When a graduate school student from another university applies to audit a class after going through the prescribed procedures, the graduate school in question will allow the student to audit the class as long as it does not interfere with regular classes.
-
3. The fees for auditing students will be decided by each university through discussion between the partner universities.
