Educational and research objectives

Department of History aims to train highly skilled professionals who can contribute to society in research, education, etc. by establishing themselves through historical research and cultivating the ability to objectively analyze the complex current world situation. In the Master's course, students acquire deep and wide academic knowledge in a specialized field and develop high-level research ability, while in the Doctoral course, the main objective is to add new knowledge to the conventional academic standard through original research in a specialized field, contribute to the advancement of culture, and develop the ability to supervise research in a specialized field.
