Introduction Graduate School of Cultural and Creative Studies

The graduate school of Aoyama Gakuin University 's School of Cultural and Creative Studies is called Graduate School of Cultural and Creative Studies.
Like the undergraduate school, it is a research base for "comprehensive cultural policy studies" and deals with various issues related to culture and the arts from the standpoint of producing and management.
The Master's Program in Department of Cultural and Creative Management is a two- or three-year program. Students can research specific themes such as cultural phenomena, cultural projects, and cultural industries and write a master's thesis, or compile research results from the practical application (planning, execution, and evaluation) of a cultural project (we particularly welcome the enrollment of working adults with experience in the field).
The Doctoral Program in Department of Cultural and Creative Studies is a five-year program aimed at training researchers and leaders. Students will pursue the multidisciplinary field of Comprehensive Cultural Policy Studies and aim to write a doctoral thesis.

Many of the classes at this graduate school are held at night to make it easier for working students to attend. As with the undergraduate program, the aim is to provide professional education that allows students to design their careers through a variety of paths and balance their studies with work.
