International Economics
International Economics
The goal of Department of International Economics is to equip students with the ability to grasp international economic phenomena theoretically, analyze them empirically, and solve various international economic problems.
Master's Program
In today's increasingly globalized society, the role of international economics is becoming increasingly important.
In order to properly grasp international economic phenomena based on economic theory and to understand them as policy science that proposes effective policy measures, the Master's Program in International Economics offers a curriculum centered on the following fields. The first is the field of economic theory, such as international economics, game theory, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistical analysis for empirical research. The second is the field related to international economic policies between developed countries, such as international finance, international economic policy, and international industrial organization. The third is the field that targets developing countries and Asia, such as international development theory, international development policy, Asian economy theory, and international environment theory. Although there are differences in policy and philosophy between the aid methods of international aid organizations and Western developed countries and those of Japan, Japan's cooperation for the sound development of developing countries is one of the most important issues that depend on the future of our country.
In the Master's Program Department of International Economics, international economics specialists with advanced specialized knowledge in both theory and empirical studies are training experts in a wide range of fields. This graduate school provides a research and educational environment for those who wish to hone and equip themselves with the ability to scientifically consider today's economic issues from various perspectives by learning the latest theories and quantitative methods from the basics.
Doctoral Program
