Exam Type

Exams are held to evaluate the progress of course completion and to certify credits. In addition to written exams, depending on the subject, exams may be conducted in the form of essays, reports, oral exams, practical tests, or other methods designated by the instructor.
Exams held at set periods at the end of the first and second semesters are called regular examinations, while exams held during regular class hours outside of regular exam periods are called in-class examinations. For regular exams only, make-up examinations are held for students who were unable to take the exam due to illness or other unavoidable reasons. There are strict eligibility requirements, and students who were unable to take the exam due to their own negligence or who do not have an official certificate cannot take a make-up examination.
Please read the "Exams and Reports" section of the "Course Guide" carefully and be careful not to misread the information provided via the Student Portal. You must also present your student ID card when taking an exam.
