DOMAINS Four areas of human exploration through education and psychology
-
"Clinical" area
In addition to acquiring theoretical knowledge, we aim to cultivate "clinical knowledge" to produce practical talent who can tackle and solve problems in modern society, such as bullying, delinquency, school absenteeism, abuse, stress, and difficulty adapting.
-
"Development" area
From birth to old age, humans are constantly growing and developing through interactions with the people and environment around them, and they also form society and culture as a catalyst for the growth and development of those around them. By positioning humans within this dynamic process, we can gain a deeper understanding of human beings.
-
"Information" area
In order to solve human problems in modern society, it is also necessary to master scientific methodology and information technology. Companies also value "solutions" - collecting data, analyzing it, interpreting it, and finding a solution. Information skills are also necessary when disseminating information or making a statement.
-
The area of "body"
Understanding human behavior, growth, and change, and solving various human problems, also requires knowledge of the brain, nervous system, and the structure and functions of the body. Another major benefit of College of Education, Psychology and Human Studies is that it allows students to deepen their understanding of humans as "living organisms."
